The Ocelot Bots from Mountain View Preparatory and the Rowdy Roadrunners from Oak Creek School had a wonderful day of STEM learning and fun at Saturday’s Northern Arizona FIRST LEGO League Robotics tournament in Flagstaff. This year's “Submerged” theme had students “diving” into research about the major problems and potential solutions surrounding the world's oceans. Students competed in a robot game, where they designed, built and programmed robots to complete various missions on a LEGO obstacle course. Teams were also judged on their core values, and their innovation project presentation. Thank you, to our amazing Coaches from each School, Diane Schumacher and Theresa Romey for all you do for kids! Thank you to the 21st Century Program for making incredibly valuable experiences like these possible for our students. Go Robots!!
