One of the activities we absolutely love is Reading Buddies! Our 8th graders get to team up with the kindergarteners, stepping into the role of big buddies and role models for our little Falcons. The kindergarteners always light up with joy when they see their buddies around campus, and it’s so heartwarming to watch their connections grow!

Our Dr. Daniel Bright Fundraiser begins today! Each student will be going home with a Boarding Pass! We are asking students to complete the Boarding Pass assignment with their parents/guardians tonight and return their completed Boarding Pass TOMORROW to earn the Boarding Pass prizes as well as be entered in the drawings! Our goal is 100% student participation with the Boarding Pass tonight!

Today we will be playing home against Oak Creek. There will be three games today starting at 3:30 (Boys B). Followed by our girls A-Team (4:30 ) We will end with the boys A-Team. (5:30) There will be NO girls B-Team game. Again, all three games will be played at Dr. Daniel Bright.

We kicked off with the first item on our Social Contract: Have FUN! 🎉 And that we did! After some fun crafting, the students had free play time where they practiced kindness, sharing, and teamwork. 💖
We wrapped up the afternoon with Power Hour—math facts with flashcards 📚✏️ and some reading practice. It was a day full of learning, laughter, and LOTS of fun! 🌟

Falcon Athletic Update: There is a change to our girls and boys basketball schedule this week. Tomorrow, (1/15) our girls basketball team will be traveling to Clarkdale to take on the Rams. They were previously scheduled to play on Thursday but have switched with the boys. The boys teams will be playing home against Clarkdale on Thursday (1/16). B-Team games begin at 4:00 followed by A-Team games at 5:00.
